Thatcher's last day of school

I can't believe that Thatcher officially finished his first year of school! We are going to miss his teachers next year, as they have been so wonderful and a huge part of the past 7-8 months. Thatcher is home for the next 2 weeks, which is kind of a nice break in our routine. We have 2 high school sisters from Church watching him, and I love it because they have to tithe 10% so I actually don't mind paying them!

In 2 weeks he heads to camp, which is held at the same place where he goes to school but just different teachers.

And, just for posterity's sake, here's a picture of Thatcher on his first day of school in October (he went to a different daycare before this, but the school where he is now will hopefully be his school for many years to come).  Not only was he riding backwards, but he was still in his infant carrier! In October he had no teeth, was just learning to crawl and was thinking about pulling up. Now he has 4 teeth and is running around like a wild man!

I cannot get over how much sweet Thatcher has grown! Make him stop it!! ;) Also, is it weird that I'm obsessed with his shoe collection? Little boat shoes = swoon.

SO sweet! When did you turn him around in the car? I was told not to until two/over 20 lbs. and just read a research report stating that the safest way is backwards for as long as possible (at least two). We have plans to turn the girls around in August when we head to Myrtle Beach in SC, but they are still a little small, so maybe Thatcher is just bigger? Just wondering!
